What is Ugong Isla?

Ugong Isla Productions aims to be an exponent of vibrancy, creativity and innovation in the Palawan events scene. The rich stock of culture, tourism and social vigor on the island merely needs to be exposed through effective advertising and access development. Ugong Isla also believes that the influx of new material and performances from the outside of the island is also crucial in the long term development of the local scene. Ugong Isla has the connections, the know-how, the motivation, and the taste, to make events that the island is sure to benefit from. Ugong Isla Productions recognizes in practice that any form of development must see the community’s benefits as a central concern - community involvement and profit from activities is always priority agenda.

We are currently making plans for the 2nd annual Rock Ultimatum. This event is a major media production cum band competition that happens annually every mid-summer. In many respects, it has been, and projects to continue, to be the biggest event of its kind.
